"I meet Eric several years ago when I sent an email to him. I asked for some studio work and he asked me to come down for an audition. After I walked into his studio I knew right away I was out of my league. He still asked me to lay down tracks for several of his customers. It took me a while to understand why he wanted to use me. It’s not how great a musician is or a singer is, but its how the team works together. I have done work where they have had the hottest player in the state and the track sounded like crap. Eric not only knows what to listen for, he can pull the most creative stuff out of a person all the while they don’t even know what’s going on. I love that in a person. Eric puts aside what he wants to make and listens to what is needed. That’s how great CD’s are made. It’s a rare talent and becoming less obvious every day. His studio is one of the most comfortable I have personally been in. Laid out in a fashion where you can relax and still feel the “Recording Vibe” If you have not meet him in person, he is one of the most genuine people on the planet. His dry sense of humor is right up my alley. LOL!
I would rate his studio and him an 11 out of 10. Can other studios do great work? Of course they can, and I have played in them. At the end of the day it’s all about what little stress I have had with a project and money. With Groove Tunes Studio and Eric you get the biggest bang for the buck……….It’s heaven and a welcomed job!"
